Katie Stevens

Finally, Katie is showing signs of life in the competition, but after repeated appearances in the bottom two — and at the bottom of our rankings — is her time in the competition running out?

Andrew Garcia (tie)

Andrew bounced back in a big way with his cover of Chris Brown's "Forever." But despite winning the favor of the judges, he remains unable to pull in support from our readers. There's a certain "been there, seen that" vibe that Andrew must shed.

Aaron Kelly (tie)

Aaron's enjoyable vocals suffered last week… from boredom. His lazy arrangement of "Ain't No Sunshine" wasn't much better, and as a result, he hits his lowest ranking in our poll this season.

Michael Lynche

Michael mades a wise move to show some vulnerability this week. More importantly, he eschewed the hammy stage antics, showing off his pipes with a simple acoustic guitar accompaniment.

Casey James (tie)

For the first time this season, Casey's brand of soulful rock 'n' roll actually felt like it deserved to be on the big stage. It also helped that he pushed himself a little further vocally than in recent weeks. Is it enough to win? Time will tell, but for now, he's safely nestled in the middle of the pack.

Tim Urban (tie)

Our readers must be playing a trick on us. Tim has been bafflingly bad for most of the season, and yet he survives, much to the consternation of the judges, who don't even bother to criticize him anymore. Come on, America — do the right thing.

Siobhan Magnus

Her take on Chaka Khan's "Through the Fire" was a little shaky. As a result, she loses some ground in our power rankings. We get that she thinks that big notes equal big success. Here's hoping she tries something a little more restrained for Beatles Week.

Lee Dewyze

Lee skyrockets in the rankings after a rousing version of "Treat Her Like a Lady," and deservedly so — it was his best moment of the season. If his growth continues, he has to be considered one to watch.

Crystal Bowersox

Even without her guitar, Crystal can do no wrong. Although she was visibly nervous playing the piano, her vocals were as rock solid as ever.
