Allison Iraheta

Despite another solid performance of classic standard "Someone to Watch Over Me," Allison still finds herself bringing up the rear in our poll. True, she should shine during rock week, but we're afraid the chances of her busting into an almost-certain boys' club finale look dimmer and dimmer.

Your take: "I suppose Simon is right that deep down in her heart, she is not ready to admit that she could win. However, it seems to me that she does not want to show disrespect to her fellow competitors. I think she is adorable and has bundles of personality, and her performance was awesome." — Rushmore

Danny Gokey

Danny has always been a judges' favorite, and he proved why during standards week, bringing back the "swagger" he's been lacking in his last few safe performances. Despite putting smiles back on the judges' faces, he lost some ground in our poll. Still, we expect to see him last a bit longer. Provided he doesn't let his hip-thrusting get out of control during rock week.

Your take: "Outstanding! [Danny's] best performance in a long time. Welcome back to the competition, Danny!" — MylaBaby

Kris Allen

Even as technically precise as he was on "The Way You Look Tonight," Kris' pleasant but ultimately forgettable performance seemed to slightly fumble the momentum he was building. Even so, he finds himself in the Top 2 of our poll for the first time this season. Will he be able to rock his way into the Final 3?

Your take: "Yeah, Kris is cute and can carry a tune, but when it comes down to it, all he does is sit or stand there. And he can't really sing all that well. He is no Idol." — ftlaudcarl

Adam Lambert

Like Allison, one might suppose that Adam Lambert has the edge going into a rock week, but his most memorable performances have been those that showed restraint. After a rockin' take on "Feeling Good" during standards week landed him in the Bottom 2, might Adam do something even more unexpected than usual?

Your take: "I wouldn't be too quick to predict Adam as the winner just yet, although he is very good. Remember the season when Carrie Underwood won, everyone was so sure it would be Bo Bice because we was such a performer. We all know how that turned out." — cdoll247 "Every week Adam knocks my socks off. We are all witnessing the birth of a new superstar performer. Simon said it: Adam wants to entertain. And does he ever deliver! He'll sell out wherever he performs." — tv_woman
