"Automatic for the People"

This week's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles blog will be extremely abbreviated because of the Monday Night Football game that I'm watching while imbibing a few beers (why couldn't the Philadelphia Eagles play during a repeat?). Hope there aren't many typos -haha! Next week's blog will be in my standard format.

Sarah decides that the 'sanctuary' thing isn't working out, so she finds a house to rent (I predict that this house will be destroyed by the end of the season). My prediction almost becomes a reality as yet another time traveler "sent from the future by John" (man, I hate exposition for the newbies -check out the way 'crapped out' is explained) jumps through a window and dies, but not before warning them of the danger at a nuclear power plant. Sarah and Cameron get jobs at the plant so they can investigate Carl Greenway (OMG! It's Ryan Chappelle! Shame what happened to him! Why, Jack, why?), an official at the facility. They discover that if Greenway's precautions are not met, the plant will have a meltdown, destroying half the coast; if the plant is shut down because of safety issues, the resistance fighters in the future will not be able to use it as a power source -Skynet wins either way (which is odd because then how did it exist as a working facility in the future for the resistance to capture and make use of?). Sadly, Greenway is killed and replaced by a Terminator (until the end, I thought it was the T-1000 series, mainly because of the way the fight emulates T2's climax). The cyborg initiates the meltdown; Sarah and company take him out (well, Cameron does that) and prevents the disaster. Cameron finds an extremely interesting why to dispose of the other Terminator's remains.

John befriends Riley, a girl from school, much to the chagrin of Sarah (Hey! What happened to the girl, possible love interest from season one?). The girl seems very interested in John (why?) and instead of listening to his mother (yet again), he brings her back to his new location. Apparently, after lopping off his emo-like hair in the last episode, John has become even more emo (man, I really do hate that term. I won't be using it again) as well as a knuckle head -why invite a total stranger to your house... especially if you're name is John Connor?

Agent Ellison warns Michelle (and Charley) Dixon (yay, it's Penny again!) about the Terminators. Michelle seems very accepting of the whole "machines from the future" story (more so than Agent Ellison was... and it took his entire task force getting killed to make him a believer!). The Dixons leave town.

Oh, finally, the T-1000 makes a quick appearance at the end.

Note to producers: I tire of the sexual innuendos.

What did ya'll think? Like/dislikes? Share!

I know two things: 1) I like parentheses 2) I'm a sad cyborg because the Eagles lost!
