“Welcome to the Jungle”

With all this talk about balls and vajayjay how could tonight's episode have been any better? Although it was a slight rip-off of last season's Sarah Jessica Parker "Bitten" challenge, it was still pretty enjoyable. But before we jump in, to check out what last week's cast-off, Jennifer, had to say when she stopped by our office, click here. Now on with the show!

So the designers had to create a day-to-night look for a high-powered and professional woman. Would it be Hilary Clinton? Heidi Klum, Nancy Grace or even Joan Rivers? Nope, none other than Lipstick Jungle's Brooke Shields! After taking some time to sketch, each person presented their idea to Brooke who then chose six designers to carry out their look - and if you do the math, that means Runway's first team challenge of the season. Brooke seemed pretty excited about the options until Stell-ah came along with pigtails and a sketch of a sexy corset top (not quite appropriate for Wendy Healy to show up to work in).

Keith, Korto, Jerell, Kelly, Terri and Blayne were picked to be leaders, but there was some hesitance on Brooke's part when she announced Blayne. Then came their partner selection: Keith went first and took Kenley with the stipulation that if he could get her to shut her mouth and stick to sewing then they'd be fine. Harsh for a first choice pick!

After another eventful trip to Mood, the teams get to work in the studio. Daniel asks his BFF Kenley if she likes his design and she flat out says no. Suede starts to freak out which does not please his partner Terri. "I don't know what he's packing, balls or vajayjay but he better figure it out." I technically can't quote the rest of her rant, but between tonight and her "Bitches gonna be slapped" from a previous episode, she's becoming a serious contender for best use of one-liners.

Kelly and Daniel are in trouble when they see that their skirt is crooked. She's not happy, Terri's annoyed with Suede, finally there's some good drama up in Parsons. And side note - Kenley is really getting on my nerves. she needs to keep to her own designs, and stop putting her two cents into others. Tim comes around and thinks Blayne's Bermuda shorts are too sporty. Jerell and Stella surprisingly work great together, and Tim likes what they've come up with. Tim is also not a fan of Korto's "sweet potato" jacket. When Joe agrees, she brings up the fact that she has immunity and if their look loses, then he's out. Good point, even though it came out as a bit of a threat.

I love how Blayne is super confident the morning of the runway show - that's always a sign of what's to come. After seeing all the finished looks, it was pretty obvious which would be at the top, and which would be at the bottom. Joe and Korto, and Terri and Suede were safe. At this point I pretty much knew Kelly was a goner since I could barely recognize her from previous episodes and then she was all over this one. Heidi and Michael loved Jerell and Stella's which was probably my favorite, as well. Brooke politely criticized Kelly and Daniel's by saying the shape was unfortunate and that it looked cheap. Michael, as per usual, put it a bit more blunt by saying "slutty, slutty, slutty," while Nina downright tells her that she has no taste. When Daniel says his taste is impeccable, Kenley starts to crack up providing perhaps the most awkward moment of the season so far. In the end, Keith and Kenley won, and Blayne and his Bermuda shorts barely survived as Kelly was cut. Do you think the judges made the right choice? Let me hear about it below.
