"The Stolen Earth"

After the "bad wolf" revelation in the previous episode, the Doctor/Donna immediately return to Earth only to find that everything is it should be. The pair re-enters the TARDIS and while inside, there is a massive jolt from the exterior of the ship. Upon opening the door, they only see space -the Earth has been stolen right from under them.
Far across the universe: Martha Jones with UNIT in New York; Captain Jack Harkness, Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones at Torchwood, Cardiff; Sarah Jane Smith, her son, Luke and Mr Smith their computer in London; Wilfred Mott and Sylvia Noble in London; and later, Rose Tyler teleporting to the street where the TARDIS landed in London, are all discombobulated (cept for Rose) over the weird earthquake (literally?). Each one in their respective locations gazes up to see the night sky filled with many strange planets and moons (26 according to the news reports). As Rose says to herself, "It's only just beginning." As each group of the "secret army" deal with their individual predicaments, a new found threat looms before them: alien spaceships are heading towards the Earth. The metallic/robotic sounding message for the people of Earth from ships:"Exterminate!" The Dalek have returned!
The Dalek shock troops begin to destroy resistance on the surface including the UNIT base in NYC. Martha, using an experimental teleport device (salvaged from the Sontarans, named Project Indigo) barely escapes the carnage with something called the Osterhagen Key). The Supreme Dalek seemingly gloats over the ease of their victory, but a voice... from the past... warns him about his hubris. The being this voice comes from is in cloaked in shadow but we all know who it is: Davros! Also present and advising Davros and the Surpreme Dalek is Dalek Caan, who was last seen escaping in the season three episode, "Evolution of the Daleks." It also appears that Caan is quite insane. Caan states that the Doctor is coming.
Meanwhile, the Doctor/Donna travel to the Shadow Proclamation, which we finally find out is a "posh name for outer space police." There they deduce that planets/moons have been stolen out of space and time including the old favorites: Clom, Pyrovillia, Adipose 3 and the Lost Moon of Poosh. Looking for any anomalies, Donna remembers that the bees have been disappearing. The Doctor surmises that the bees haven't been disappearing, rather fleeing, returning to their homeworld. He is able to trace the bees path home and thusly, is able to follow the trail to the location where the Earth has been whisked away to. Before the pair are able to travel to Earth, the Shadow Proclamation wants to commandeer the TARDIS and make the Doctor their leader for the upcoming war. The Doctor, well... being the Doctor, refuses in his own way. The TARDIS reaches the Medusa Cascade and stops the planets are not there!
Back on Earth, humans are being rounded up for transport to the Crucible ship of the Dalek. Wilfred and Sylvia are about to be killed in the streets when suddenly, Rose Tyler rescues them. The three return to the Noble's home where Wilfred informs Rose that he hasn't been able to get a hold of Donna (via the cell phone). This was Rose's last chance of finding the Doctor! The 'secret army' are shaken out of their resignation by a signal, a web conference feed, another voice from the past: Harriet Jones, former prime minister of England! The conference includes everyone sans Rose, who can view but not participate (web cams are naughty). Martha even shows up for the web chat as the teleport sent her to her mum's home. Harriet and the 'secret army' concoct a plan to boost the cell phone signal (via all their respective talents/devices) to contact the Doctor. It works! Sadly for Harriet, the Dalek trace the signal back to her -Harriet Jones, former prime minister RIP.
The Doctor/Donna follow the signal to Earth and the other missing planets -the Daleks have placed the Medusa Cascade one second of of time which hid the planets from view. The subcarrier signal is detected by the Doctor and he meets his 'secret army' virtually; although Rose is not visible, she is there watching. Davros interrupts the proceedings with his own transmission. After the initial shock then evil banter, the Doctor pilots the TARDIS towards Earth
The Dalek send an extermination squad to Torchwood just as Capt. Jack fixes his teleport and exits to find the Doctor. Rose contacts her people and they teleport her to the TARDIS' position. As the Doctor/Donna discuss the sitch on the ground, Rose appears in the distance. Rose finally meets the Doctor again! As they run towards each other, a Dalek appears and blasts the Doctor with it's death ray. Seconds later Captain Jack teleports in and destroys the Dalek. As Torchwood is being invaded and Sarah Jane Smith stopped in the street by Dalek troops, Capt. Jack, Rose and Donna bring the mortally wounded Doctor into the TARDIS, where to the shock of Donna and Rose, he starts to regenerate...

Donna: "Why don't you ask her yourself?"
Doctor: "Rose. Long time no see."
