On this week's V, Erica and Father Jack are torn over who they can...and cannot trust.
9 minutes in...
Well, we're off and running. And for Erica and Father Jack, they're literally off and running. When the Vs send a ground crew to clean up the mess (i.e., dead bodies in the warehouse), Erica makes an "anonymous" call from a nearby payphone to the police. Only problem is...the call was being traced by the V's. The next thing Erica and Father Jack know, a blue orb is hot on their tail. Now, I'm sure a flying blue orb is terrifying on whatever planet the Vs come from, but they were clearly unaware that Erica was the star hitter on her college softball team here on earth. One solid swing later, Erica obliterates the orb with a homerun hit. The incident is just another reminder that neither she nor Father Jack can trust anyone.

It's Week 9, and not one, but two people are going home. To get things rolling, the episode begins with a pop challenge, which will reward the winner with a one-pound advantage. The players — minus Amanda and Liz who sat out for medical reasons — must put their tennis balls in their individually colored buckets. It's a simple game of running back-and-forth, and Allen wins...

In this week's Two and a Half Men, Charlie and Chelsea get a little closer to walking down the aisle, but it's the closeness between the brothers that's the real story.
Through a stroke of good luck, or rather good connections, Chelsea and Charlie are given the chance to have their wedding at the Bel-Air Hotel. Evelyn even offers to pay for the shindig, which rightfully upsets Alan that his mom would offer to pay for Charlie's wedding when he only got a dinette set (his argument: Charlie's marriage is just as likely to fail as his was). Charlie obviously is in no hurry to set a date, because he gives all sorts of excuses to get out of it — even bringing up something about killer swans. After some coaxing, Chelsea finally gets Charlie to commit to the date and runs off to make the all-important calls to family and friends. Alan can't pass up the chance to rib Charlie about it being the end of an era and his good run being over...forever. Things won't change too much, Charlie argues. He'll still be in the same house, with the same woman. Yes, he will...forever. While the idea of a June wedding at the Bel-Air sends Chelsea over the moon (as it should), it sends Charlie out for a drink (as it would).

This week Gossip Girl was a bit of a numbers game. Jenny faced the devastating prospect of possibly making her society debut solo, and two people who were in a major fight found themselves trapped in an elevator together. And then there was that little matter of a much-hyped threesome that finally took place.
Alone at Cotillion
Gossip Girl made a witty observation comparing the gathering of the heads of each Upper East Side school as a meeting of La Cosa Nostra. Little J entered this meeting the picture of confidence, but she was hiding her insecurity: Deep down, she still felt like little Jenny Humphrey from Brooklyn. (We later found out that the committee only allowed her to make her debut after Lily pulled a lot of strings.) It didn't help matters that Jenny had zero experience with ballroom dancing, while the other girls had years. So Jenny sought to remedy all her woes by securing a powerful date to the cotillion: Graham Collins. However, her minions were having trouble pinning him down.

As Mary Alice tells us on this week's episode of Desperate Housewives, some lessons in life come not from a book but from the mistakes people make along the way in their lives. Gaby's mistake is her own lack of aptitude for school. Lynette shows she's learned from her past mistake when she kept Julie's secret at the beginning of the season. Bree's mistake is her insistence on doing everything on her own and judging people (Angie) too quickly. Susan's mistake is her self-involved ways in high school. And as for Angie's mistakes, well it's too early in the season for that information.
