On this week's episode of Two and a Half Men, Charlie schools Jake on the finer points of cheating, but forgets one tiny, but very important, detail.
Ah, it's holiday time at the Harper house and it has everything you'd expect—booze, singing, womanizing, and an old man soiling himself (warning: it's disturbing). This year, Alan has written the Harper Christmas newsletter to send out. Now, I sometimes get newsletters in lieu of a Christmas card and for me it just seems a little too impersonal. Unfortunately, there was nothing impersonal about this newsletter. In it we learn that Jake passed his class by the skin of his ass, Charlie is single no more after getting engaged to a lady, not a whore, and Evelyn rejuvenated her secret garden—turns out nothing rhymes with vulva. I think the best part of the scene, besides the poem of course, was Alan's responses, in his best Oliver Twist accent, to Charlie's bah-humbug attitude. I'm not sure if Alan was hitting the sauce or if the holidays just puts him in a jolly mood, but he was downright witty!

Hey readers, did you know that Ted, Robin, Marshall, Lily and Barney are all smokers? Neither did I. Neither do Ted's kids — because he never told them. Or us. For four and a half seasons. Meanwhile, Robin has issues with a new (and completely unprofessional) co-worker.

Susan Boyle
TV Guide Network's exclusive airing of I Dreamed a Dream: The Susan Boyle Story was the exclamation point on the end of Boyle's incredible year.
Check out photos from the concert special
It began on the Britain's Got Talent audition stage, when Boyle shocked the judges and the live audience by belting out "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Miserables. That moment spread across the Internet like wildfire, quickly making Boyle the most-talked-about woman in the world.
She didn't win Britain's Got Talent, but you'd never know it. She's since recorded a debut album that is topping the charts.

Walter Bishop has always been one of the central characters to Fringe. This is hardly a revelatory statement. But as the series has progressed it becomes more and more apparent that he may be the central figure of the series — the one on which the mythology of the series hinges. In the midseason finale of Glee, the club heads for sectionals. However, Quinn's baby daddy drama may tear the club apart, hindering them in the competition. Meanwhile, Emma and Ken's wedding is coming, and Will makes a decision that may change his life.
While the club waits to find out who their sectionals coach will be, Rachel ponders why Puck rushed to Quinn's aid the day before when she slipped at rehearsal. Everyone else in glee is clued in to the baby daddy drama, sans Rachel, and, of course, Finn, but they're not giving up any info. Rachel claims to be psychic and thinks there's definitely something up.
Kurt, Mercedes, Tina and Artie then go into action mode. They need to make sure that Rachel doesn't find out about Puck being the father because she'll immediately tell Finn and ruin any chance they have of winning sectionals. The fab four blame the cheerios in the bunch, since Santana is "dating" Puck. "Sex is not dating," she retorts. "If it were, Santana and I would be dating," says Brittany. That's a hilarious and interesting development for another time.

The Biggest Loser - Alison Sweeney
After months of sweat and, of course, tears, the remaining Biggest Loser contestants will step on the scale for one final weigh-in. In tonight's two-hour live finale, either Amanda or Liz will join Danny and Rudy to compete for the $250,000 prize, while the rest of Season 8's competitors will reveal their transformations as the at-home winner is determined. So let's get to recapping!
After watching some clips of that first and dreadful mile run-walk from Week 1, Alison introduces the finale scale. Dun-dun-dun!
This past week, votes have been cast to decide if Amanda or Liz would be the third finalist to compete for the title. Out on stage first is Amanda, strutting her stuff as her old self is transposed next to her. Alison asks her how she feels in a dress, something she often avoided, and Amanda simply says, "I feel beautiful."
Liz comes out next looking wonderful in orange. After a short commercial break, Alison announces who America has chosen. And that person is... Amanda! It's only fitting that the woman America chose during Season 7 to compete this season, was also chosen by America to be the third finalist.
It's time for the at-home players to reveal their fitter selves and see who will take home $100,000. Here is everyone's stats after weighing in:
