Robot Chicken: Star Wars by Warner Home Video and Adult Swim
After the freakin' awesome DVD release of Family Guy: Blue Harvest, fans of the films (including me!) simply cannot wait for the next Star Wars send-up. But it seems we'll have to cool our hyperdrive for a little bit!

Robot Chicken: Star Wars was announced back in January, and the [adult swim] release was set to arrive on May 20th. But a new press release issued this morning shows that the date has changed to July 22nd.

No matter; the folks behind this release are very excited about it, especially after the success of Family Guy: Blue Harvest on DVD. Seth Green ( Robot Chicken, Family Guy) exclusively tells TV Guide.com, "The combination of Star Wars and Family Guy was hugely successful, which was very encouraging to us because it demonstrated the potential of a DVD like this."

The disc will still be packed tight with bonus features, including "Chicken Nuggets" (sketch-by-sketch video commentary), Episode Commentaries, Deleted Scenes, a Behind-the-Scenes Featurette, a Production Design Featurette, a Photo Gallery, Trailers, On-Air Bumps, a Star Wars Celebration IV Convention Panel Presentation, and more...all for a list price of $14.97!

Be sure to lock in your copy and pre-order from Amazon.com, where you'll get the DVD delivered to your door for a discount. They have a nifty online trailer there for it, too! - David Lambert
