Episode Detail: Show of Force; Groundhog Day - Carrier
The USS Nimitz arrives in the Persian Gulf, where the F/A-18 pilots fly six-hour missions in support of ground forces. Meanwhile, the strike group intercepts cargo ships and small dhows and searches them for terrorists, weapons and bombmaking materials. Also: Two months into their assignment, crew members find that every day seems much like the day before. A port call in Bahrain, however, provides some relief, as some sailors enjoy themselves at a pool and others learn about Islamic culture.
