Premise: A primetime revival of the 1960s Gothic serial about a 200-year-old vampire who was unwittingly unearthed from his crypt on his family's Maine estate. The updated version possessed more special effects than the bare-boned original when it premiered on Jan. 13, 1991, on NBC, but the newfangled fantasy never caught on. The network buried it less than two months later.
