Visiones: Latino Art and Culture on PBS

Debut: A six-part survey of Latino artistic expression begins with the “Nuyorican” poets of New York City, and urban mural art (“museums of the streets”) in Los Angeles, Chicago and San Diego, where “artivist” Mario Torero is “using the art to wake up people to bring about social change.” The program also profiles cartoonist Lalo Alcaraz.
