Episode Detail: Another Black Monday - The Academy
In the second-season opener, Deputy Miley ("the Ramrod") and the other drill instructors from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department meet the 115 recruits of Class 368 on "Black Monday," the first day of their 18-week training course. Recruits range in age from 21 to 49, and two are dropouts from Class 355 (followed in Season 1) who have returned with renewed purpose. But that doesn't give them a free pass. Nothing does, as even the 49-year-old who was chosen class sergeant soon finds out.
