Debut: The dramas at an organ-transplant center in Pittsburgh focus on workaholic transplant surgeon Nate Grant (Treat Williams) and his ex-wife (Kari Matchett), an organ-recovery coordinator. First up: a young female patient needs a heart; and Grant's mentor (Dabney Coleman) falls ill as Grant vies to become the new chief surgeon.
