Debut: Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford and Amanda Peet head up a top-notch ensemble in this drama, which chronicles the backstage goings-on at a popular late-night comedy-sketch show. First up: “Studio 60” showrunner Wes Mendell has a public meltdown, and newly appointed network president Jordan McDeere scrambles for damage control. Sarah Paulson, D.L. Hughley, Steven Weber, Timothy Busfield and Nathan Corddry also star. From “The West Wing” producers Aaron Sorkin and Thomas Schlamme.
