Premise: Susan Hampshire won an Emmy as Thackeray's social-climbing heroine Becky Sharp in a `Masterpiece Theatre' adaptation. Hampshire had previously won Lead Actress Emmys for `The Forsyte Saga' and `The First Churchills.'
