Premise: Hondo Harrelson is a police lieutenant in charge of the LAPD's Special Weapons and Tactics squad in this ultraviolent spin-off from `The Rookies.' Harrelson and four officers under his command---all armed to the teeth---move from one hairy situation to another in a tricked-out van. In 2003, Samuel L. Jackson and Colin Farrell teamed up for a big-screen version of the series.
