Premise: A classic game in which contestants identify melodies for money and prizes. The show premiered in 1953 and endured various incarnations over the next 20 years, the most memorable of which was the addition of the `Bid-a-Note' round in the 1970s, where contestants claimed they could `name that tune' after hearing a small number of notes. Kathie Lee Gifford (née Johnson) was a vocalist on the 1976-81 syndicated version, as was Steve March Torme, son of Mel Torme.
