Premise: Disney's animated drama is a moody fantasy about ancient `unnatural creatures' who are statues by day but come alive at night to battle crime and corruption in their new home---Manhattan. The series began in 1994 as a syndicated show and was relaunched in September 1996 as part of the ABC Saturday-morning lineup under the new name `Gargoyles: The Goliath Chronicles.'
