Premise: A 13-part biography of England's Edward VII (1841-1910), the eldest son of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Edward was reared from earliest childhood for the monarchy, waited nearly 60 years to rule and then reigned less than a decade. Still, he left his colorful imprint on the Edwardian Age (1901-10).
