Premise: Hit-and-miss cartoon satire about a splenetic private-eye duck who cracks cases with help from a levelheaded porcine sidekick, while raising three wildly dysfunctional children. Alternately witty and uncompromisingly crude, and featuring music composed by Frank Zappa, the series divided viewers but became a critics' favorite. Inspired by the Everett Peck comic.
