Daniel tries to beat his addiction to prescription painkillers by going cold turkey, which proves to be a real test of his resolve, especially as he tries to cope with the prospect of his wife and his brother Worth (D.W. Moffett) working closely together. At the same time, Daniel deals with what's best for his mother as her Alzheimer's progresses.
