Premise: A gay and lesbian-themed magazine series that includes investigative reports and profiles of newsmakers, along with features on aspects of gay culture. The series drew fire even before it aired when then-senator Bob Dole attacked it as a `gay Ed Sullivan show.' The show persevered, however, hitting its stride in 1994 when Katherine Linton took over as anchor after two seasons of guest hosts.
