In the early hours of the morning, Little Bill learns the different ways Alice the Great and other early-risers begin their daily routines. Later, Little Bill is disappointed that his older brother and sister are going camping without him. Big Bill invites his youngest son to a backyard sleepover to cheer him up.

Premise: Based on books by Bill Cosby, this endearing series follows an imaginative 5-year-old boy dealing with some day-to-day obstacles common to kids his age. It has colorful paper cut-out animation backed by a lively jazz soundtrack featuring saxophonist Don Braden and trumpeter Jon Faddis.
