Premise: Sitcom about the head chef of a haute New York restaurant and his `renegade crew of colleagues.' Based on the memoirs of real-life chef Anthony Bourdain, who says `I love the sheer weirdness of the kitchen life.' Especially `the dreamers, the crackpots, the refugees and the sociopaths with whom I continue to work.' And they appear with regularity throughout this series, co-produced by Darren Star (`Sex and the City').
