Episode Detail: Second Sight: Kingdom of the Blind - Mystery!

Tanner (Clive Owen) plays a game of chess (or maybe it's blind-man's bluff) with Harold King (Peter Vaughan) as “Second Sight: Kingdom of the Blind” concludes. One pawn: Tanner's son Sam (Benjamin Smith), who turns up with King. Tanner suspects that Sam's disappearance and reappearance are tied to the Harris slaying. But all the leads in the case lead nowhere. As for Tanner's “Little problem,” “I'm onto it,” Boyd (Mark Bazeley) tells him. And this time he really is. Chancellor: Lesley Vickerage. It features adaptations of tales by myriad classic mystery writers, from Arthur Conan Doyle and Agatha Christie to Dick Francis and John Mortimer, with such notable figures as Sherlock Holmes, Hercule Poirot, Miss Marple, Adam Dalgliesh, Inspector Morse and Rumpole of the Bailey. Among its best episodes are several `Prime Suspect' cases (with Helen Mirren), which have also aired on `Masterpiece Theatre.'
