As “Second Sight: Hide and Seek” concludes, Tanner (Clive Owen) continues to probe the murder of a pop-star violinist, but he must do so without Tully (Claire Skinner), who has resigned from the SMU. Her replacement: ambitious DI Boyd (Mark Bazeley), who's “so fast-track,” Tanner marvels, “that he leaves a vapor trail.” Boyd could be a threat to Tanner, who is having increasing difficulty hiding his condition---and his future on the force. “I'm not so blind that I can't see it,” he tells Tully.
