Episode Synopsis: Dennis and Dee's abrasive mother has died, and the bad news is that she stiffed them in her will, leaving all her money to her humanitarian paramour, Bruce Mathis (Stephen Collins). Premise: Seriously dark comedy about four twentysomething friends who run a struggling pub in Philadelphia. Dennis, Dee, Mac and Charlie are absolutely (even gleefully) amoral. They're 'Seinfeld' characters on steroids, clowning their way through story lines that 'Seinfeld' writers wouldn't have touched.
