Episode Detail: Hubris - Lyon's Den

Jack doesn't know what to think when his old friend (Steven Culp) is charged with fraud---and says he's guilty. Meanwhile, Rushton represents the District of Columbia in a suit against a gun manufacturer. That makes him a "player" to the 15-year-old drug dealer's lookout who's key to the case. Also: the Barrington case is growing cold and Traub needs something---the building's security log from the night in question perhaps?---to keep his superiors from closing it.

Premise: An idealistic lawyer (and son of a senator) takes over the reins at a shark-infested D.C. firm following the mysterious death of its managing partner, though he would rather be doing pro-bono work at a legal clinic. Despite a terrific ensemble cast (built around `West Wing' alum Rob Lowe) and plenty of intrigue, the series was an early casualty of the fall 2003 season.
