Premise: Three black sisters struggle to keep their family together in this cable melodrama based on the 1997 hit movie. Episodes dealt with a range of subjects, including racism, jobs, child-rearing, separations, affairs and organized crime. It was a triple winner as Outstanding Drama Series at the NAACP Image Awards.
