Episode Detail: Pilot Episode - Roswell

Debut: Three young alien survivors of the storied 1947 UFO crash live secretly among the residents of Roswell, N.M. First up: One of the aliens, Max (Jason Behr), saves the life of Liz (Shiri Appleby), jeopardizing his safety as well as that of his sister Isabel (Katherine Heigl) and their friend, Michael (Brendan Fehr). The incident also heightens the local sheriff's suspicions regarding Max's involvement in the 1947 crash. Sheriff Valenti: William Sadler. Maria: Majandra Delfino. Alex: Colin Hanks. Premise: Aliens lived secretly among humans in this sci-fi and soap hybrid set in Roswell, N.M. (the site of a fabled 1947 UFO sighting). The drama focused on three teen aliens who quietly resided in the area. Their secret was jeopardized when Max used his powers to save the life of Liz, a girl he had secretly admired for years. That led Liz to discover the truth about him, his sister Isabel and their friend Michael, endangering all of their lives. Based on books by Melinda Metz.
