Premise: A 21-year-old script by the 'Star Trek' creator inspired this sci-fi series about a resistance faction wary of seemingly benevolent space aliens called the Taelons, whose authority on Earth continued to grow several years after their celebrated arrival. Later, alien species known as the Jaridians and the Atavus also became players in the planet's fate.
