Premise: A 14-year-old Jewish boy's experiences in 1950s Brooklyn (before the Dodgers left) are the focus of this gentle, nostalgic sitcom. An obvious labor of love for series creator---and Brooklyn native---Gary David Goldberg (`Family Ties'), who used his own experiences for storylines.
