The Fountains of Wayne impersonate the Hollies, singing “Bus Stop” on “Bandstand”---which is where Patty (yes, Patty) wants to be after a classmate calls her a nerd and it sinks in. Meanwhile, Jack and Pete's brother Ted, no friend of the family, is seriously injured in an auto accident, leaving Jack with a decision to make; JJ makes his mark at the engineering firm; and Henry makes a big sales presentation. Five for Fighting's John Ondrasik performs at the Lair. Chris: Milo Ventimiglia.

Premise: A nostalgia-drenched show about 1960s life for a Philadelphia family, frequently featuring cameos by current entertainers portraying singers and other figures of the period. Daughter Meg's a regular dancer on `American Bandstand.' This isn't a surprise, considering that Dick Clark is one of the series' executive producers.
