Cheers to Ralph Waite for his performance on NCIS. What a pleasant surprise to see "Pa" from The Waltons after so many years!
His uncanny resemblance to his TV son, Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon), along with Waite's quick wit and identical idiosyncrasies with Harmon, made them more than just two great actors on a great show. They made this viewer believe that they actually were father and son. Also Cheers' to NCIS' casting director, because they were a perfect match! Don't make us wait too long for another family reunion! Bring back Jackson Gibbs soon!
