Cheers: Hey Now, It's Jeffrey Tambor!

Jeffrey Tambor and Julia Louis-Dreyfus, The New Adventures of Old Christine
Cheers to Jeffrey Tambor for a pair of hysterical guest spots.
The brilliant comic actor reconjured the shallow spirit of The Larry Sanders Show's Hank Kingsley by satirizing himself as a self-absorbed client of Ari Gold's on Entourage (I only wish another HBO alum, The Sopranos' Jamie-Lynn Sigler, weren't so appallingly misused in this Sunday's episode of the showbiz spoof). Tambor also scored big yuks as a creepy reptile expert who slithers his way into a date with Julia Louis-Dreyfus on The New Adventures of Old Christine.
Considering how bad Twenty Good Years and Welcome to the Captain were, maybe Tambor should stay away from regular sitcom gigs and stick to one-shots — like reprising his genius dual role in the upcoming Arrested Development movie!
