Nip/Tuck for a finale that Nip/Sucked. It's become impossible to tell FX's once-sharp drama from the ludicrous soap-within-a-soap "Hearts 'N Scalpels." To wit(lessness): In
Hearts, a paparazzo had a camera crammed up his rectum. That must've been where they found this episode's script, in which Christian slept with the legless mother of his daughter (who'd slept with his son); Sean got stabbed by his stalking-stuffer ex-agent while operating on his own daughter, who'd been injured in a paparazzi-related car crash; and gunshot victim Julia woke up from a coma with retrograde amnesia. After suffering through this not-so-hot mess, I should be so lucky.
