Jeers: A Heath Ledger Tribute Not Fit for a King

Jeers to Larry King for being hopelessly out of touch. Discussing the tragic death of Heath Ledger, the CNN host asked a panelist, "Is his fianceé an actress?" Yes, Larry, her name's Michelle Williams, and they both got Oscar nominations for
Brokeback Mountain! (Oh, and by the way, they were no longer engaged.) This comes not long after King offended Jerry Seinfeld by asking if his sitcom had been canceled. "You're not aware of this?" Seinfeld responded incredulously. "Can we get a résumé in here for Larry to go over?" With all due respect to Larry's 50 years in the biz, it might be time for King to step down from his throne.
