Cheers to Chris Parnell for his scene-stealing turn in
Miss Guided. As power-drunk vice principal Bruce Terry, the
Saturday Night Live alum wrings consistent laughs from the freshman ABC sitcom's uneven scripts: His character's man-crush on soulful substitute teacher Beaux (Ashton Kutcher) was downright hysterical. (Parnell's also brilliant as a juice-sipping poker genius in the just-released big-screen comedy
The Grand.) I just hope this new TV gig doesn't mean we've seen the last of Parnell's delirious
30 Rock quack, Dr. Leo Spaceman.
