Cheers to Kristen Bell for sparking
Heroes to life. In just a few scenes, the
Veronica Mars veteran juiced up the slumping sophomore drama as Elle, an assassin sent to track down Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) in Ireland. Using her electrical powers, she incinerated gang leader Ricky (Holt McCallany) and was promptly called home by her unseen father, which raises the intriguing question: Who's her daddy? Somehow, we doubt she believes Father knows best. One thing we do know: Bell's live-wire performance turned Chapter 5 into this season's strongest episode yet.
