This week we shared with you the episode we've been talking about since the break — "Thrilled to Death"! It had a very special guest star in Hilary Duff, who plays Morgan Jefferies, a mysterious young woman being haunted by the ghost of a stranger who died in a freak accident. But as Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt) and Eli (Jamie Kennedy) investigate, they realize there's much more to both of their stories than either is admitting. Meanwhile, Jim (David Conrad) faces the very real dilemma of trying to return to his old life, while living in a body known to the outside world as Sam Lucas.
"Thrilled to Death" was written by co-executive producers Laurie McCarthy and Jeannine Renshaw and was directed by Gloria Muzio.
This episode's guest stars: Kids' Choice Awards and Teen Choice Award winner Hilary Duff as Morgan Jefferies, Gemini Awards nominee Currie Graham (Raising the Bar) as Rick Hartman, and Kieren Hutchison (One Tree Hill) as Jack Pimsler.
Musically, "Thrilled to Death" features platinum selling artist Hilary Duff's hit song "Fly" (Hollywood Records), Adele's "Make You Feel My Love" (XL Recordings/Columbia), UK chart topping band The Script "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" (Sony BMG), and last but not least Meiko's "Reasons to Love You" (Myspace Records), which we have also used in our Ghost Whisperer "Love Beats" music video.
