Hello, Office groupies. This week's episode is another doozy! Ryan brings Michael to his business school to be a guest speaker, and Dwight tries to trap a bat in the office (and Meredith's hair gets in his way). Have you seen the promos with Rainn [Wilson] and me? May I say, I never looked lovelier! I don't know if you've noticed, but we don't get a lot of makeup on our show, and after this week's episode I will quit bitchin' about my lack of glamour. If you've seen the promos, you know how crazy my hair looks. So for all the vanity insanity that comes with mating and dating, I officially give up! Valentines, don't model your special look after me. Not unless you never want to see him again.

The funniest thing about this show is that I kept saying, "The way I look on this show, I am never gonna get any." Well, I was dead wrong. My boyfriend of almost a year and I will be celebrating our first Valentine's Day off the beaten path. I didn't mean to use "beaten." He's a really nice guy. I met him on the show. I don't like to mention names or make him uncomfortable by talking about him - no, it's not Steve Carell or Creed Bratton, he's not an actor, thank you - but there are some photos of us on WireImage.com, from the SAG and Emmy awards. It just reads "Kate Flannery and Guest." How strange it was to read that phrase "and Guest." It's a little bit mysterious, right? These red-carpet experiences are pretty trippy.

Last weekend, the cast of the show was invited on a VIP trip to the race track at Santa Anita. Angela [Kinsey] was invited and she extended the invitation to all of us. It was beautiful, the horses were beautiful, the food was beautiful.... We were treated beautifully. We even got to go down and have our picture taken in the winner's circle with the horse and the jockey who won "the Office race." We had a blast. We all bet on this one horse, Sugar Shack, and he won! Not being a big gambler, I enjoyed my $32 like it was a pot of gold.

Anyway, please forgive my lack of blogging last week for "Phyllis' Wedding." I wrote one, but our Internet was screwed up at the office (for real). I am only one woman. One woman who plays a drunken redhead on NBC's The Office [Thursdays at 8:30 pm/ET].

I hope you all had a great week and I hope that you will watch this very funny episode. Steve is so damn good. Jenna [Fischer] and Steve have a scene together that I think is their best ever! I was very excited to have a scene with just Dwight and Meredith. Rainn is the best. We had a ball working together. He is one funny cat. Did you know that Rainn Wilson is hosting SNL on Feb. 24? Isn't that the greatest news? Don't you dare miss it. Or The Office! Thanks for reading this.
