When New Girl returns this fall for Season 4, Jess Day (Zooey Deschanel) will be single and ready to mingle.
"She dates some real...
Don't ask Zooey Deschanel when she's going to pop out a few adorkable babies of her own. Becoming a mom is the last thing on the New Girl star's mind.
"Like every woman is dying to give birth! I don't think so. Nobody asks guys that," Deschanel told InStyle.
Nick and Jess will have to face a harsh reality during New Girl's season finale (Tuesday, 9/8c, Fox) when they're forced to spend an entire weekend together on a cruise ship — a super romantic trip they planned before their split.
To soften the blow of having to spend the trip together, Nick (Jake Johnson) and Jess (Zooey Deschanel) invite the whole gang along. But, being the frugal spenders that they are, Nick won't pass up the chance to get their money's worth during the trip, even if that means being forced to do romantic activities like couples yoga and massages with Jess. Unfortunately, those events will actually make them realize being just friends is much harder than they thought. What does that mean for the future of the gang and their living situation? Damon Wayans, Jr. has been promoted to series regular for New Girl's fourth season, TVGuide.com has learned.
Seth Rogen returned to Saturday Night Live for his third hosting stint this weekend, and it was distinctly not a charm.
The episode started off promisingly, with Rogen's monologue featuring cameos from celebs — some surprising (Zooey Deschanel), some predictable (James Franco), and some who were there to support musical guest Ed Sheeran (Taylor Swift). But the rest of the night was a bit of a slog, save for a bizarre sketch featuring Franco as a monster who decides to get plastic surgery to appear human.
