From Shake It Up to Starlet: See How Zendaya Has Grown Up

Zendaya Coleman's career is just getting started.

At just 14, Zendaya burst onto the television scene with Disney Channel's successful hit show Shake It Up. Shortly after the series ended, the California native continued to show off her dancing skills and tangoed her way to second place on Dancing with the Stars. The actress has also solidified her triple-threat status with her Billboard Top 200 self-titled debut album featuring the chart-topping song "Replay." Now, 17, Zendaya is set to headline the upcoming Disney series K.C. Undercover.

Exclusive: Disney Channel Orders New Sitcom Starring Zendaya

Actress/singer Zendaya (Shake It Up) is returning to Disney Channel to lead the cast of the new family comedy K.C. Undercover. In the series, set to premiere in early 2015, she stars as K.C. Cooper, a high school student training to follow in her parents' footsteps as an undercover spy.

Kadeem Hardison (A Different World) and Tammy Townsend (The Client List) play her parents, Craig and Kira Cooper. The show also features Kamil McFadden (House of Payne) and Veronica Dunne (Our Wild Hearts). Production begins this summer; Zendaya will also receive a co-producer title on the show.

Dancing with the Stars Finale: Who Will Win?

Is Zendaya the one to beat on Dancing with the Stars? Not according to TVGuide.com voters — a whopping 59 percent of whom have pegged Kellie Pickler to take home the Mirrorball trophy. Zendaya received 27 percent, while Aly Raisman and Jacoby Jones earned 9 percent and 5 percent, respectively.

They will face off in the show's first four-couple final Monday and Tuesday with four routines: the judges' choice, the cha-cha relay and the super-sized freestyle on Monday, and the Instant Dance on Tuesday. But before they do, let's size them up.

Dancing's Aly Raisman: We Have a "Really Cool Surprise"

Dancing with the Stars' first elimination turned out to be moot after Dorothy Hamill withdrew with a spine injury. But since that was kept on the down low from the cast until the show announcement, no one's nerves were quelled. "No one knew [so] I was really nervous," Aly Raisman tells TVGuide.com. "Standing up there, I was like, 'This just got real! Someone's going to leave.' Luckily, we were saved pretty early."
