A massive fan campaign is underway to earn NBC's Chuck a Season 3 pick-up — and it has even found series star Zachary Levi himself stepping behind the counter of a Subway sandwich shop in London to assemble footlongs for scores of fans. As shown in the video, Levi remarks while standing before a fervent crowd, "You see, NBC? This is what happens when you might cancel a show that people care about!" Click here to watch.
On the occasion of Chuck's season finale (Monday at 8 pm/ET), Levi spoke with TVGuide.com about his relationship with super-hot secret agent Sarah, working with amazing guest stars, and the "game-changing" twist to come.
TVGuide.com: Were you surprised that Chuck and Sarah had an all-too-quick make-out session in last week's episode? Have you been happy with the progression of their relationship over the first two seasons?

Back in July (hence the dated iPhone prattle), I had the pleasure of visiting the Buy More. There, I "picked up" three interviews, with Chuck cast members Zachary Levi, Adam Baldwin and Joshua Gomez. In this first vid, Levi reflects on the comedy's strike-shortened first season, saying, "It's tough when you're off the air" for so long. That said, he's glad to celebrate the series' return on Sept. 29, "which just so happens to be my birthday!"Levi also talks about his "double"-the-everything promise for Season 2 (at the 2:45 mark), the prospects for Chuck and Sarah moving in together (3:30), and the fine roster of guest stars on the way, including John Larroquette, whom he says "is a god, but not the God."Also check out my Q&As with Baldwin and Gomez. For some of us, this is the week when the TV season truly begins, with the welcome return of a handful of shows that were abruptly cut short in their freshman season by the writers' strike, but were (to the surprise of many) given a reprieve by their networks, which still sees potential in them.

Chuck by Michael Yarish/NBC
Chuck fans, rejoice! NBC has picked up the back nine episodes of the sophomore dramedy, giving the beloved, but slightly ratings-challenged show a full season and not to mention, a huge boost in confidence.Peacock executives were impressed with Chuck's first six episodes and didn't waste any time giving the showrunners the good news."We couldn't be more excited with the creative direction Josh [Schwartz] and his team are executing on Chuck," NBC Entertainment Executive Vice President Teri Weinberg said. "This show has really hit its stride and deserves a full-season commitment to carry out the producers' vision for this unique series."Due to the writers' strike, Chuck was reduced to a half-season last year, and NBC brass opted to bring back the Zachary Levi-led series for the fall instead of finishing up in the spring.Season 2 of Chuck premieres Sept. 29 Levi's 28th birthday, fittingly at 8 pm/ET. Zachary Levi and Yvonne Strahovski by Carin Baer/NBC
Zachary Levi is seeing double, he informed TV Guide at Sunday's "A Time for Heroes Carnival" sponsored by Disney to benefit the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation. The culprit: Season 2 of NBC's Chuck. "It's twice the action, twice the drama and twice the romance," Levi teases. "It's Chuck squared." In fact, upcoming storylines play with the theme of twos. "Chuck dies, twice," Levi reveals. "It's crazy." What else is on the horizon for the spy comedy? "Sarah Walker (played by Yvonne Strahovski), the CIA extraordinaire, is getting a new cover job," says Levi. "And we've got some really great guest stars." Among them are Michael Clarke Duncan ("He plays a great bad guy," says Levi), Arrested Development's Tony Hale (see related story), and John Larroquette, playing "a spy debonair who teaches me how to seduce women," Levi says. Will Chuck put his newly acquired macking skills to work on Sarah? Teases Levi, "You'll have to tune in and find out." Bekah WrightMore intel...
