Bulldog plays the ultimate Halloween prank on Frasier by towing his BMW and replacing it with a smashed up model from the impound lot. Daphne and Niles forget to buy Halloween candy and consider handing out soy sauce packets and hotel soaps. Instead, they spend the evening hiding from trick-or-treaters. Mrs. Moon gets into a prank war with one of kids, Jason, after he eggs their door. She covers his doorknob in Vaseline, then makes a large food order and charges it to him. Finally, Daphne, Niles and Jason's parents have to intervene when Mrs. Moon removes his bike pedals so he can't get to school. Frasier is inspired by Mrs. Moon's one-upmanship and hires a group of actors to pose as zombies to scare Bulldog when he enters his dark and dingy radio archive room. Martin and Roz join with the cast to rehearse over the weekend and become irate with Frasier's unreasonable demands and taking all of the fun out of it. Frasier gets defensive and fires Martin and Roz for doubting his plan. Roz and Martin apologize to Frasier just in time to watch the prank unfold from a television monitor as Bulldog enters the haunted archive room. Bulldog screams then pulls out a gun and shoots one of the zombies! Frasier runs to the scene of the crime, while Martin and Roz laugh, knowing that Bulldog sabotaged the prank. However, the joke is on Roz and Martin when they find a zombie stabbed by a pair of scissors and covered in blood.
