Ever notice how those wannabes on America's Next Top Model have such oddly spelled names? Last year's winner was called Yoanna House. There's a fine moniker — if you're a drag-queen realtor. This season, the gals bear names like Yaya, Toccara and Norelle. Whassup wit dat? TV Guide Online decided the latest eliminee, Jennipher Frost, would be the perfect one to ask. Here's what the 22-year-old barkeep from Pocatello, Idaho, had to say.
TV Guide Online: What's with the "ph"? My Watercooler pal, Damian, said you need to get hooked on phonics.Jennipher Frost: I was born spelling it with an f. Then, in sixth grade, there were so many Jennifers in our class — one went by Jen, one was Jenny, one was Jennifer... I had to do something different, so I changed it to Jennipher. I like the cool, unique spelling 'cause I don't know anybody else that has it. So I went and changed evread more
On Tuesday night, the broadcast portion of the TCA press tour wrapped up in fine style. That's when UPN hosted an all-star clambake at Shutters on the Beach, a posh shorefront hotel in Santa Monica, Calif. In Party Boy's humble opinion, the belle of the beach was Missy Elliott, whose hip-hop talent search, On the Road with Missy Elliott, debuts this fall.

Party Boy: In your racy "Work It" song, you say, "Is it worth it? Let me work it. I put my thang down, flip it and reverse it." What "thang" do you mean, exactly?Missy: [Laughs] I'm just talkin' about my rap skills. It ain't nothin' nasty!read more
Although Yoanna House ultimately won America's Next Top Model, 21-year-old Shandi Sullivan crowned herself the resident drama queen of Season 2. This weepy Walmart clerk was full of true confessions, wasn't she? She told her fellow Model wannabes (and the nation) how unloving her parents are. She told judge Janice Dickinson she had tried drugs, and even robbed a Kansas City candy store back in 2001. She also phoned boyfriend Eric to admit cheating on him with an Italian stud in Milan. Why is Shandi's life such a mess? Only a qualified therapist could really answer that, so here, TV Guide Online just rings her up for some candid dish, Shandi-style.
TV Guide Online: You had such drama on this show. It must be exhausting to be you!Shandi: [Chuckles] You have no idea.
TVGO: Why do you think the judges cut you?Shandi: I let it fall apart at the end; I wasn't coread more
