Secret Chris Carter Film Uncovered | Movie News | 6/25/2008
Apparently, Chris Carter (aka my idol!) doesn't sleep. Perhaps he's a supernatural creature in his own right because in the midst of directing, producing and now editing The X-Files: I Want to Believe for its July 25 release date, Carter has secretly been shooting another movie.Though Carter's reps won't confirm the project, the Reporter cites the film is called Fencewalker, and is a "dark coming-of-age semiautobiographical character piece."The cast looks extremely interesting and includes X-Files sequel star Xzibit, The Tudors star Natalie Dormer, Katie Cassidy (David Cassidy's daughter) among others. The film is being shot around Los Angles, including Carter's hometown of Bellflower, Calif.Carter's no dummy — based on the smashingly successful and secretive marketing around J.J. Rapper Xzibit's Baby Son Dies | Today's News: Our Take | 5/27/2008
Rapper Xzibit has revealed that his 11-day-old son, Xavier Kingston Joiner, died on May 26. Xzibit wrote about his son's passing on his official MySpace blog, saying "[Xavier's] lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own." Though the baby was born prematurely, Xzibit had spoken optimistically about his chances of survival. Now that his son is gone, the rapper urges people reading his blog to cherish every moment with their children, saying "Hold on to your kids, if you have them. Protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them."Xzibit will be starring alongside David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Amanda Peet in this summer's The X-Files: I Want to Believe.
