Big Brother's Willie Hantz is in more hot water: Just days after he was kicked off the CBS reality show for violent behavior, Hantz was arrested in Lafayette Parish, La. on suspicion of drunken driving, according to TMZ.
According to the report, the Lafayette City Police Department received a call about a fight in a parking lot. When police arrived on the scene and cleared the crowd, officers saw a yellow 2012 Camaro driving towards the back of the lot. When they approached the vehicle, Hantz got out of the car and started to run. Hantz was soon apprehended and arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
Being the brother of infamous Survivor villain Russell Hantz didn't cost Big Brother's Willie the game after all. Instead, his temper did him in.
On Sunday's episode, Willie, who saw the entire house turn against him after his fight with Frank last week, was shown charging at fellow houseguest Joe in the bathroom. After yelling, "Hit me," to Joe, Willie then aggressively chest-bumped into Joe. Willie was soon called to the diary room and never came back.
It's Hamster Time! That guilty summer pleasure Big Brother returns Thursday for its 14th season and CBS promises it will be bigger than ever — at least by head count. Expect 12 new players to participate in the game, as well as four returning audience faves. Who will take home the $500,000 grand prize? Who will fall in love? Who will be the next Chima and have a batcrap-crazy meltdown? TV Guide Magazine sat for a chat with each the newbies before they went into the house but the drama started even sooner than expected. At the eleventh hour, one of the houseguests we met — Mike Baxter, a 23-year-old bartender from Boston — suddenly backed out of the show. Alas, we can't tell you much about his replacement Joe Arvin, a 41-year-old chef from Schererville, Indiana, but here's hot dish on the other 11. Let's get this party started!
