Cheryl Burke and Will Levy
It doesn't seem to matter that the Season 14 cast of Dancing With the Stars is filled with celebs we've known and loved for decades: Gladys Knight, Melissa Gilbert, Jaleel White, Martina Navratilova and Jack Wagner, who was given his walking papers Tuesday night. The fact is that two relative unknowns — classical singer Katherine Jenkins and Latin actor William Levy — are obliterating everyone else in the ballroom with the both the quality of their dancing and sheer animal magnetism: You'd be hard-pressed to find two better looking people on the planet.
Martina Navratilova and Tony Dovolani
They both looked stunned: William Levy, the 31-year-old Latin heartthrob who is causing quite a commotion in the ballroom before he even starts dancing. And Martina Navratilova, the 55-year-old tennis legend who broke down in tears, twice, on the press line following Monday's episode of Dancing With the Stars, after getting the lowest score of the night for her awkward and out-of-sync jive.
William Levy, Cheryl Burke
Cheryl Burke is pretty sure she's gotten her hearing back. When Tom Bergeron merely mentioned her partner's name, telenovela star William Levy, on the Dancing with the Stars season premiere, the crowd erupted in eardrum-bursting screams usually reserved for the likes of Justin Bieber — and they continued throughout their rehearsal package, their routine, critique and judges' scores. "Oh my God! The screams were so insane!" Burke tells TVGuide.com. "I thought I was gonna go deaf. I probably did for a second." The adoring shrieks were a welcome surprise for Burke, who wasn't sure how the audience would react to her ostensibly unknown partner. See what else she has to say about Levy, why he's a rule-breaker and if he's the next Gilles Marini.
Derek Hough and Maria Menounos
How good is this season's Dancing with the Stars cast? So good that Derek Hough changed his upcoming quickstep with partner Maria Menounos after Monday's high-scoring Season 14 premiere. "I had to," he tells TVGuide.com. "Everyone was incredible, so I knew we had to step it up a little bit, especially with no elimination this week." So what did he do to their routine? And was he surprised at how well everyone performed? Keep reading to find out.
Kym Johnson, Jaleel White
One after another, they came out on the dance floor, and either surprised or dazzled us. Judges, pros, hosts, audience members — okay, everyone — was stunned by the across-the-board display of raw talent on Dancing With the Stars' Season 14 premiere.
There's something different about Dancing with the Stars this season — and it's not just the stage.
"There's no lightning rod! No one [is] controversial, so everyone can stop freaking out!" Tom Bergeron tells TVGuide.com.
Dancing's Maria Menounos: Don't call me the favorite
After nabbing such divisive figures as Kate Gosselin, Bristol Palin, Chaz Bono and even perceived ringers like Nicole Scherzinger in the past few seasons, executive producer Conrad Green and casting director Deena Katz went with a low-key approach for Season 14. They also had a theme: nostalgia. The new crop includes the old-school likes of ...
