Question: What was the name of the sports-based sitcom that starred Farrah Fawcett? It probably aired in the late '80s or early '90s. Thanks for your help.Answer: No problem, Greg. The show was called Good Sports. It launched on CBS in January 1991 and featured Fawcett as a supermodel-turned-sportscaster on a ESPN-like cable network. The setup was that Gayle and Bobby had enjoyed a weekend fling in college, but he didn't recall it at all, which, of course, infuriated her. But that little complication didn't stop her from falling for him a second time, and the romantic tension, coupled with guest spots from real-life sports stars and a supporting cast that included such notables as

I actually laughed at this show this week, but it was mostly at the fact that the entire cast of Battle knew touch-football judge William Katt and serenaded him with the theme song to The Greatest American Hero. It figures that these children of the '70s and '80s had fun with the classic show. Question: Just wondering. Did William Katt star in anything before The Greatest American Hero
Answer: His big break in the pre-Hero years was as doomed prom king Tommy in 1976's Carrie, Kyle. His first true starring role was as the young Sundance Kid, playing opposite Tom Berenger's Butch Cassidy, in 1979's Butch and Sundance: The Early Days. I'm betting, however, that you missed that one since most people did.
Like it or not, Katt, the son of actors Bill Williams and Barbara Hale (Perry Mason) is best remembered for his work on the ABC series, which ran from March 1981 to February 1983. And to hear him talk at the time, he didn't like the idea of that — and quite rightly feared it w
