Cop turned author thiller-- Dennis Meechum is a fiercely honest police executive who once gained celebrity as an author of crime stories. Cleve, by his own account, is a professional hitman whose killings helped build a business empire. When Cleve is fired after years of service by the industrialist whose empire he helped build, he seeks revenge. Thus, the two men from opposite sides of the law come together to bring down the crooked industrialist. Cleve will disclose unkown details of all crimes in which he took part - extortion, graft, political corruption and murder. Meechum will take it all down and write a new best seller.
